Performance analysis of gear pump

Stainless steel gear pump is a kind of pump product which is connected with motor and works under the liquid at the same time. Compared with ordinary gear pump or asphalt pump, stainless steel gear pump has the following advantages:
1. The structure is compact and the air volume is small. The stainless steel pump can be directly installed in the sewage tank because it works under the liquid. There is no need to build a special pump house to install pumps and machines, which can save a lot of land and infrastructure costs.
2. The device is easy to maintain. The small stainless steel gear pump can be installed freely. The large stainless steel gear pump is generally equipped with automatic coupling installation to stop the automatic device. The device and maintenance are quite convenient.
3. Long continuous operation time. Because the pump and motor are coaxial, the shaft is short and the rotating parts are light, the load (radial) on the bearing is relatively small and the service life of the stainless steel gear pump is much longer than that of the ordinary pump.
4. There is no cavitation damage, irrigation and water diversion. Especially the latter point has brought a lot of convenience to the operators.
But everything is divided into two parts. The most critical problem for stainless steel pump is usability. Because the application place of stainless steel pump is under the liquid; the medium to be guaranteed is some mixed liquid containing solid materials; the pump and motor are very close; the pump is arranged vertically, and the weight of rotating parts is in the same direction as the water pressure received by impeller. These problems make the stainless steel gear pump in the sealing, motor bearing ability, bearing layout and selection of the request higher than the ordinary sewage pump.
