Inspection before screw pump installation
1. Check whether the pull rod is loose. If it is loose, tighten it immediately
2. Check whether the assembly bolts of motor, reducer, bearing seat and each bracket are loose and move. If yes, correct immediately and tighten the bolts
3. Check the coaxiality of the coupling, and measure it in both horizontal and vertical directions within the range of 0.1-0.3mm
4. Check whether the bolts or nuts of the packing gland are loose. If they are loose, tighten them properly
5. Check whether the seal at the inlet and outlet is damaged. If it is damaged, check whether there is any foreign matter entering the pump. If there is any, it must be eliminated
6. Check whether the reducer or transmission is refueled. If not, refuel immediately
7. Use the auxiliary tools to rotate the transmission shaft, and listen to whether the pump is normal. If there is "stuck" and abnormal response, dismantle the machine immediately to check and eliminate the fault
Installation of screw pump
1. The distance between the pump outlet and the obstacle shall not be less than the length of 1.5 stators, which shall be connected with short pipes for maintenance
2. Close to the inlet and outlet section of the pump, the pipeline shall be laid to avoid turning the right angle to increase the resistance. If it is necessary to turn the right angle, the turning radius shall be increased
3. After the pump is leveled and aligned on the foundation, secondary grouting shall be conducted. After the strength of secondary grouting reaches 75%, the foundation bolts shall be tightened
Installation of pipes
1. The diameter of the inlet and outlet pipe shall be basically the same as that of the pump
2. All sundries in the pipe, especially welding slag, must be removed strictly before installation
3. During the design and installation of pipeline, air suction shall be avoided to keep certain liquid medium in the pump body
4. The pipeline must have its own bracket, and the pump body cannot bear the pipeline gravity
5. All flanges of the inlet and outlet pipes must be sealed with sealing gasket to ensure that the inlet pipe does not leak and the outlet pipe does not leak
6. If the pressure of the outlet pipeline system is higher than the maximum pressure of the pump instantaneously or the pump is shut down suddenly due to power failure, and the system pressure will cause the pump to reverse, a check valve must be installed at the outlet of the pump
7. The nozzle of the suction pipe shall not contact with the bottom of the pool, and its effective height shall be kept within 120-200mm. If the sundries in the medium are likely to cause the pump blockage, a mesh cover shall be added at the suction pipe.
Use and maintenance of screw pump
1. When the pump is used for the first time, clear water or delivered liquid must be injected into the pump, and the auxiliary tool "turning" shall be used flexibly, and then power on to start, so as to avoid damage to the stator by "dry running" and "sticking"
2. Before starting the pump, all the valves in the inlet and outlet pipelines must be opened, and only after stopping the pump can all the valves in the inlet and outlet pipelines be closed
3. The rotation direction of the pump must be consistent with the mark on the pump. If it is necessary to reverse, the inlet and outlet of the pump must be aligned
4. The flow regulation can only adjust the opening degree of the return valve or the screw speed on the return pipe, and cannot rely on the closing degree of the pump outlet valve to regulate the flow
5. If suction, outlet pressure and flow drop are found during operation, it means that the stator has been worn. Properly adjust the screws outside the stator, tighten the stator cavity, and the pump can operate normally. When adjusting, it is advisable to feel the tightness of the stator screw engagement by hand similar to that of the new pump
6. Always check the tightness of bolts, bearing temperature rise, oil shortage and sealing condition, and deal with problems immediately if found
7. After delivering high viscosity, solid particles or corrosive media, the pump cavity must be cleaned immediately to prevent precipitation or corrosion
8. After the pump is used in winter in the high cold area, it must be cleaned immediately, the plug under the tee must be opened, and the accumulated liquid must be drained to prevent freezing damage. If the next use is interrupted for a long time, the residual medium in the pump must be indirectly heated and melted (but it is not allowed to inject steam into the pump cavity). And the pump can be powered on and started only after several revolutions of auxiliary tools
9. After the new pump runs for 300 hours, replace the bearing with new oil. After every 1500 hours of operation, replace the oil. After the new reducer runs for 7-14 days, replace the oil. After every 3-6 months of operation, replace the oil
10. In case of any abnormal condition during operation, stop the machine immediately, find out the cause and eliminate the fault.
